A Wonderful Campaign & the Power of NetworkA few days before the end of the campaign in the United States, I received an email from a colleague who invited us to watch a video on YouTube. I must confess that I loved it. The clip showed the hope and change that Barack Obama could bring to people around the world.
We can see that the Web is now a platform that allows room for creativity and the expression of intelligent discourse. In addition, we must not forget that our message can be endorsed and even enhanced through the support of our fans.
The Obama campaign is an example for our politicians in terms of innovation with the web and commitment to its possibilities. For example, Obama announced his running mate’s name on the Web; even journalists had to get their information there. On the evening of his election, we were all waiting with impatience for his speech and during that time, all his fans registered on various social networks received an email to thank them for their support. Whether it’s in politics or business, the leader of a class should always dictate the trends and set the tone. He must be unique. His singularity will destabilize his opponents. The leader must be a source of solutions rather than problems.
